My wife and I have gone through some tough times (financially), our sex life isn't always everything it could be (medical reasons), and we have butted heads a few times ( but never have had an actual fight)...however we have a very happy relationship and marriage, one that we are so proud of and wouldn't give it up or trade it for anything (or anyone) in the entire world. We have never even thought of it as a lot of hard work. It's not perfect because we are not perfect, but to us it's as close to heaven, paradise, eden, utopia, or whatever as one could possibly get.

Same tbh. While all marriages can be tough sometimes, I imagine there are probably some that go well and are "happy". Just haven't seen them.

Sure. I've been in one for 40 years, and we have a group of friends who could say the same thing about their marriages of 30+ years.
