To all the shy guys:

how do I know if he’s shy or he just doesn’t wanna be talked to? He generally seems like a sweet and nice guy but sometimes he kind of closes up. Like he’s shy. He’s helped me out with some things a couple times, let me say hi to his dog and even joked a little with me about other small things but usually he’s pretty minimal with interaction. It seems genuine but it’s minimal. I can’t help but feel that maybe I should just leave him alone. I mean I don’t bother him up the ass for crying out loud, it’s just that the interactions between us are a little awkward. Because of him not me.

Most guys are shy... And if you're interested you'll have to work at it a bit... But the quiet guys are often the keepers ;)

I am generally an outgoing man with most people in most situations, but when it comes to interacting with women to whom I am attracted, I turn into a shy and awkward klutz. I am a kind, decent, affectionate, and passionate person, but getting beyond the fear and shyness keeps me stuck. I want to be outgoing and I don't know how to overcome my shyness. It isn't anything about the women per se. I may like a woman a lot but she can't tell that I want to be "more than friends."

@Byron8by7 im the same way except I’m not outgoing to say the least. He doesn’t seem like he is either. He talks to other coworkers and seems to talk a little more but I think he’s just more comfortable with them because I’m new and he doesn’t know me much. He also just seems shy in general too. I wouldn’t go as far as to say he attracted to me. I guess you never know but I think it’s safe to assume. I get what you’re saying tho :)

If you like him, tell him : )

That was me in my teens lol 😅 I’m wayy more social & outgoing but still very introverted at heart.

@Sb356 lol thanks for sharing all that with me .... I see a lot of me in the both of you : P I really hope something comes between you too I really do... I was gonna suggest to take a risk so you won’t regret later but now that I know you guys work together it could be awkward depending on the outcome or what may happen in the future, anyways hoping the best for you!

@Lolco yeah I hope something comes too but who knows. He may not even be single and here I am losing my mind for no reason🤣🤣 (cute ass guys like that are never single. There’s no way.) But thank you !! :-))

Good communication is essential in any relationship, ask him for his opinion, ask him questions, if he won't answer look elsewhere.
SW-User
why don't u ask him
Sb356 · 26-30, F
@SW-User I almost did actually just come right out and say “so are you shy or just introverted?” But I refrained.
SW-User
@Sb356 i don't see why it would be a big deal if u explain like u did here, without calling him awkward lol

Hi, honestly it's hard for me to say. Has he started to say more with more recent conversations? I find myself talking more when I get more comfortable with someone.
Sb356 · 26-30, F
@DDonde well that’s hard to answer because we work together so we don’t really have time for actual conversations. I tried to start one but was really nervous so I only asked him two questions and that was it but I have noticed that sometimes he makes more comments about stuff to me than he did before and a little more laughing and joking
DDonde · 31-35, M
@Sb356 Well, if he's making comments to you unprompted, then that's a good sign.
Sb356 · 26-30, F
@DDonde yeah I kind of figured. He just throws me off sometimes. It’s weird because I actually get the same way so you’d think I’d be able to deal with it easily.
