Will you go for a open relationship or open marriage with your mate

recently I came across a couple they have been together and living this lifestyle since past 9 years
do relationships as such survives ?
if so what keeps them together after being with different people

I tried it with my ex and it didn’t work out. It very much depends on the relationship, communication, and the people involved but overall I don’t think it’s for me.

@scottamadore2 that’s a really complicated answer. I think it was both of us tbh but as I said, I don’t think it’s the kind of relationship I could be in.
