Got it in my head that nice men are boring in bed. By good in bed I mean they have sexual creativity and a lot of ideas and fantasies, the actual act can be worked on and perfected.

I think it all depends on communication, action, and experience.
I had dated girls in high school and early college and I was probably vanilla as vanilla can be.
But after dating an awesome (in every way) girl.... well... we spent a lot of time in bed. During and after our relationship, I felt more confident and fun in bed.
I think if you really like a guy, tell him what you need or guide him to it. If he can’t meet your expectations after guidance... then I’d say re-evaluate the situation.
