A few months before my daughter’s wedding, she had a medical issue and they gave her steroids, which packs on weight.
She had had her final fitting for the gown but when she tried it after the steroids there was a great weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. Paid-for gown too small. I hired a trainer for her and she got into the dress.
The fastest diet I was ever on was low-carb. Weight comes off fast but usually doesn't stay off.
