How does one develop a crush on a sw member?

I don't think you have to be desperate to enjoy someone's company and appreciate who they are when you're interacting with them on a personal level. The point of this site is to connect with other people on an emotional level through shared experiences. I don't see how it's strange that someone could develop feelings for someone else if they're being open and vulnerable with them on a regular basis.

Not at all. Is the constant interaction with them that makes you develop such feelings.

People have claimed to have crushes on celebs.. No interaction at all PERIOD.

I think you have to be open to it. There are certainly people who I enjoy interacting with on here but I can’t imagine having a crush on them. However, I’m also very aware that I have no interest in online hanky panky. (Jeez, how old am I?)

For me, it was reading her words and recognising the immense kindness that she genuinely demonstrated.

It’s the interaction of getting to know people that makes that possible.

You get to know people here - what they like/don’t like, what’s happening in their lives, their sadness and happiness, their life challenges, etc. You get to discover how they think, what their values are, etc.

Sometimes you just click with someone. Not often but it does happen. Usually leads to a poor outcome but whatever.

Boggles my mind why people come here if they find the company less than appealing. ..
