Have you ever had to burn a bridge to a freindship before?

I stopped taking calls and texts from a few people friends and family. Basically I noticed I was the only one remembering people's birthdays significant events when they mentioned them. And when they were ever feeling down I'd always call to check up them and make sure they were OK, sometimes even rushing up to their houses when they said they were feeling depressed and lonely. But somewhere along the lines if I needed the same or similar. Where were they... I have been incredibly lucky in my life but only because I out myself out there and try to make changes to my life. People don't see the hard work only the end result and it landed me with a lot of stupid comments like "you always land on your feet font you?"
Despite being out of work for periods of time etc etc.... what's the fucking point who needs people like that in their lives...
I'll admit I didn't attend people's baby showers but why should I attend an event for someone who doesn't even bother with me on a month to month year to year basis to suddenly have me turn up to buy them a fucking gift, um it doesn't work like that... I'm treating people how they treat me from now on, or cut them the fuck off. Excuse my language!

I've burned bridges many times but often it's not out of necessity, sometimes I just feel like doing something stupid. But that's usually internet friendships, which are different than real life friendships.

I blocked a guy on here and now he keeps flagging my YouTube videos out of spite.. Jerk

Yeah, when someone brings so much negativity into your life you’ve got to get rid of them. Simple as that.
