Ex bf still continues his smear campaign after a year. I can help feeling bad. What should I do?

Was at dinner with a friend of mine. Two girls came into the restaurant who were friends of my ex who kept pointing at me (they whispered ‘that’s her, she is the crazy one..etc’). They even sat close to us (maybe to hear what we were saying) and then left. It’s been a year but it still hurts every time. A few people I have met have then without any reason removed me from social media/avoided saying hi to me after- I’m sure it has something to do with him. It really is not pleasant. Specially seeing as he seems happy now with someone new (seems like he is wining) and made me look like I’m the crazy one.

idk what the circumstances of your break up was or how long you dated. generally stuff like this wouldn’t faze me personally. there have been times i was batshit crazy. i own it. if they talk about me, it’s because they don’t have an understanding of the situation or a context as to why i was batshit crazy, (trust me it was justified) so with that in mind, i find it hard to give their opinions any merit.

you can’t really do anything legally btw. lol. i had a female stalker for years and the shit she got away with was nothing compared to this. she basically said everything should could and it’s not against the law because it’s a personal matter. Harassment doesn’t work either till they threaten or hurt you. i’ve looked into all this ....
