A relationship between two peopole is that:
A relationship between two people. PERIOD.

He has a drug problem, maybe.

Maybe you can look elsewhere for diversions (not men or sexual stuff, I mean just your own fun whatever it may be: i.e. books, music, nature sports, etc) until he can figure it out.
OR if he is willing to discuss with you WTF is going on.
