Do you feel suffocated if your partner constantly checks up on you?

@FunReader55 lol not currently in that situation but have been in the past. Me and my current bf only talk when we're together really lol

@AliceMortem yeah that stuff is a little whacky. people who go looking for trouble typically find it. meaning they conjure it up! they misread an email or detail or a something. when in reality, they are missing the whole point! if your partner does't do "bad stuff" only because your policing them, you don't have a partner. you want that partner CHOOSING on their own to not do "bad stuff" while you're on mars. plus, its alot of work to do that shit!! those people are crazy or need a hobby or something! lol!

@FunReader55 I feel like it's more likely to push people into doing what you're accusing them of if you constantly make something of nothing. I don't even question where my bf is going or who he's with on a night out, if he wants to tell me that's his choice otherwise it's his business he's a grown man and I trust him and vice versa

that's another great point!! you push them one way, they will want to go the other. and why not? they were being driven nuts when they were doing nothing.

and, i agree with what you said about your bf, if he messes up while he's out, that's on him. i would NEVER police anyone i was with! if you want to leave, there's the door. i would never keep someone a minute longer than they wanted to be there!

remember though, this logic and madness comes to you from the same guys who get violently upset if you look and/or think their partners are pretty!!

@FunReader55 I once knew someone who's girlfriend would call him every 10 minutes when he was out. If he didn't answer she would call all of his friends until someone would pick up to ask what he was doing. If no one answered he'd get messages saying she'd call the police if he didn't answer and she was worried about him etc.
I don't know if they split up since they had kids together but that was just insane

kids together?? holy cow! i would have given her the first call. hey, we all make mistakes! lol!! but the second call, you gone!! with kids.. hmmm... maybe go practical, get a number she doesn't know and tell your friends its on them if they answer!! how does she have time for that with kids?? i have 2 and zero time and i'm the lazy dad. not the freaking mom!

@FunReader55 I have no idea. I assume she wasn't like that before they had kids, if I was a guy I certainly wouldn't be impregnating someone like that 🤣
