how many hours should we sleep daily

It depends on how you are sleeping, sleeping is a technique, yogis do 'Yoga nidra' means 'have no sleep as sleep', and again there is something like "Shwana nidra" sleep like a dog, and specifically to your question minimum is 2 and 1/2 hours that's all, in fact everyone actually sleeps for only that much, the rest of time is spent in dreaming and REM sleep.
on an average person without any trick requires 6-7 hours.
