What is like to have a loved oneand just seeing each others eyes and that connection is instantly there and all the problems you have been worrying

about all day long ... doesn't matter anymore. All is safe and taken care of just seeing their smiling eyes.

I am envious of all of you for having that comfort. Sincerely hope you appreciate it, especially if separated.

I appreciate every single moment I have with my gf 'cause I had to take so many years of being that loser nerd virgin in High School before I met her out of University.
I think I fell in love with her instantly when I saw her 'cause we were in a crowd at one of the only parties I've gone to in 20 years of my life and if there were any other women there besides her and my sister I didn't notice them. My parents divorced when I was a kid and I always told myself I'd love the woman I found before I ever started anything and I always admired my Uncle for having stuck by his only woman for 30 years of marriage (31 this year) and thought "damn, I want to be like him". I never asked him what his secret was but I always wanted to but now I don't have to because I look in my gf's eyes and it's just like you said, nothing fucking matters anymore. I'm safe with her and vice versa and my dad says that will fade but I like to disagree.

There's someone out there for everyone sir, I don't care what size, shape, age, religion or ethnicity you are. We're not born one on this Earth, we are born two, we have to find each other, that's part of the fun/struggle.

@zeframcochrane I keep hoping there is ... maybe she too is a procrastinator and keeps putting off our scheduled time to meet, lol.

Is good you're not paying to much attention to your Dads words. You sound as if you have Love within you. You gave me a great smile reading what you have shared. You sound very genuine. Best Wishes for you.

Yeah I love my father dearly but I really wonder sometimes if he adopted me, dude's so damn pessimistic and jaded. I'm told I'm "too optimistic" by my gf, she had rough dating experience before me but my mother raised me Protestant and I clung to the teachings of the Lord. To each their own, but I had to find my faith and it made me who I am.
Keep the smiles up, it's a lot easier to be sad and angry and doing that gets you nowhere as opposed to being happy.
Also I'm sort of a procrastinator too, it's tough to keep on schedule so don't be angry if it's the case!
