A great improvement in "man woman" relationship. Couples would be less possessive about each other. Less unchaste remarks on each other.

@BlackBarbie1987 strange yah!... I have seen polygamy societies living happily in this very planet ....
BlackBarbie1987 · 36-40, F
@in10RjFox I’m not trying to be mean, but most of those women were probably raised in that concept as being normal. Maybe in some cultures it is, but these modern day women....uh, I don’t see it happening. Maybe I’m just speaking for myself, cause I’m ok with occasional sexcapades with the hubby, but I ain’t sharing that damn much! I like the attention and I will be the head bitch in charge. Lol!

@BlackBarbie1987 You said it right...
but most of those women were probably raised in that concept as being normal.
It is all culture or how we cultivate the future. And hope you know Law is never for today and it is for tomorrow. That's what questionnaire wants to know. "if polygamy becomes legal", then the culture will start to change.

There is no such thing as modern woman. It is just that whether they can think for themselves or not .. Democracy is where each is able to live by their rules .. and not forced to live by rules imposed by someone else.

If a man was gluttoning for punishment. You thought 1 wife was crazy...he can handle many? Lol! If it’s the sex then he should just join an orgy someplace. I personally could never be 1 of many of his wives, because I like attention and I require to be the head bitch in charge! Hahahaha!!!
Dayeshadow · 51-55, M
@BlackBarbie1987 you can br in charge of the man and all his bitches
BlackBarbie1987 · 36-40, F
@Dayeshadow No thanks! Women are too much drama. Lol! Now, if it was reversed and polyandry....then hell yeah! I can have multiple husbands!
RETQU · 41-45, F
If it were accepted by society and fine for both sexes we could preserve more families that are torn apart by mid life crisis and the temptation of all those fine people out there. Just bring them home!
Dayeshadow · 51-55, M
@RETQU very good answer
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
Lots of husbands means lots of penises
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie Haha. Still don't see where marriage is necessary! Go out get ALL the boyfriends.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@ViciDraco You mean FWB’s? Nah 😝
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie I meant long-term committed relationships. Though if property sharing is your think, you can also hook up with a commune. ;p (Yes, now I am just being silly)
Faithless · 31-35, M
These comments should be good.
Arnoldrj1 · 70-79, M
more lovely women to enjoy!
better health care
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
I'd rather the government get out of deigning what relationships are legal or not altogether. That being said, I don't know what benefits would exist that I do not already get for being polyamorous without marriage.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@Dayeshadow On social issues. More of a progressive on economic issues though.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie Personal contracts can create the same shared ownership arrangements. :)
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@Dayeshadow To go into more depth, I feel people should be free to do what they wish so long as nobody is getting harmed. However, I believe Free Markets inevitably lead to monopolies due to limited supply resources/land and that automation is going to destroy the concept of employment in but a few scant decades. We should be moving to a resource based economy similar to as outlined by The Venus Project.

If polygamy were legal the only benefit would be multiple incomes. Men always have fantasies about polygamy, but it is more like hell on earth than the sex paradise they envision.
lorne13 · 61-69, M
Might be a lot less divorce lawyers around
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@lorne13 but divorces could also become class action motions
lorne13 · 61-69, M
@ViciDraco i guess so, if group marriages got to be really large
