Go by the technical formula the French use:

That is, the perfect aged woman for a man is half the guy's age + 7 years.

For example, suppose you were 50....

50 divided by 2 = 25 + 7 = 32

The perfect match for a 50 year old male would be a 32 year old female.

Now in your case, you are 53, but let's call you 52 to make the numbers work!

52 divided by 2 = 26 + 7 = 33

The perfect match for you would be a woman who is about 33 years of age. So is a 30 year old woman a contender for your own age at this point in time? I would say she is definitely in the same ballpark as you are!

If you were a year older, 54 divided by 2 = 27 + 7 = 34 for a perfect female lover. But if you were a year older and clocking in at 54, she would be 31 years of age.

But look at it this way too... in 7 years from now, you will be 60.
Therefore, 60 divided by 2 = 30 + 7 = 37 year old perfect female lover.

BUT!!!! in 7 years from now, your friend will be 37!!! So on your 60th birthday, your current friend will attain exactly the perfect age for you as your lover!
