What do you think about distance relationships?

Most relationships don't even work with a double bed. How's a hundred miles going to make that any better?

It worked for my parents, so that proves it can work. However, that doesn't mean it is always going to work for everybody.

Really really really really really hard

If you can't meet up they're not a good idea

Not that difficult if you find a good person.

It takes a lot of extra effort, patience, trust etc
It can and has been successful but there needs to be a plan in place for the end of distance. Not a one day... but an actual plan a date. There has to be a lot of communication and making visits count when you are together.
