Is it possible to truly love only one person forever?

Monogamy and loyalty are two separate things. I'll take loyalty over monogamy any day. Infact I prefer to be in a more open relationship.

I do believe some people can be and are monogamous though.

@bijouxbroussard you can be loyal to a person by honouring an agreement made to that person ie it's agreed to discuss with eachother if their is sex with someone else, if its ok, how much information about it you want shared. Sex and love do not necessarily go hand in hand. Loyalty can take many forms but does not necessarily have to include being in a monogamous relationship with that person.
