@Fernie Possibly not. My point was more that she shouldn't wait around for a guy to ask. A lot of guys (such as myself) won't ask a woman out for various reasons. It could be that a guy she has her eye on is nervous about asking her out. One of them has to get over the nervousness to move forward.

@gmatthewb I don't need you to agree with me...you said 2 times that she should ask a guy out ...completely missing the point...if she feels ugly...it ain't gonna happen so why keep telling her to? I agree...women frequently feel ugly when in fact they are very pretty. Society and males create that. Which is what I meant by it being quite different for women than it is for males. A man can be very unattractive and still be accepted way more than a woman. It's cellular with women, we've been conditioned to feel that we are never attractive enough
