Why does the guy have to ask. Take a chance and ask a guy out yourself. Sure you will probably get turned down often, but eventually someone will say yes. That's what guys have been doing for years. Why do you think some women feel it important to start some conversations with "I'm not looking"

@gmatthewb I don't need you to agree with me...you said 2 times that she should ask a guy out ...completely missing the point...if she feels ugly...it ain't gonna happen so why keep telling her to? I agree...women frequently feel ugly when in fact they are very pretty. Society and males create that. Which is what I meant by it being quite different for women than it is for males. A man can be very unattractive and still be accepted way more than a woman. It's cellular with women, we've been conditioned to feel that we are never attractive enough
