Thoughts on ldr?

"Sounds good, doesn't work". It takes tremendous amounts of commitment and you can never be sure they aren't cheating / you will always be tempted to cheat.

Unless you've ever actually spent time physically together there is NO relationship other than whatever you've concocted in your head !
And if you ARE together but have to spend time apart because of work; family or school, these are killers to any relationship.
Worth it. Especially when you end up marrying and having kids with the person, like I did.

Its hard and you have to be honest about needing physical interaction often and making yourself available to each often. it can work with the right set of people. love alone wont keep the relationship going.

I don't know of any that really worked out. Never did it myself other than regular friendships

They can work if both people really want to be together, trust one another, are faithful, spend time together through skype and phone etc, visit as often as you can and then having an end date in mind for when you can live in the same place.
