If you start dating and one has bad news, how soon should they tell the other?

I started dating someone online... she let me know pretty quickly that she has an issue... that effectively killed the relationship. When is two early to reveal the big stuff?

With std's it should be revealed before engaging in sex. I would hope that the partner educate themselves on the specific ailment before making an informed decision.

I learned about it but ultimately wasn't comfortable. It's highly possibly that was short sighted of me but I stand by it.@Shayla

Oh I understood what you meant I think... she ended up telling me before plans were even finalized for the visit in 2 months... kinda put the brakes on the whole thing..@Shayla
