I would not tell him. Since he has made his position known, you'd be setting yourself up for awkwardness if you reveal your feelings to him.

... well, sounds like you are very observant and have thought this through. so, listen to your own advice ... if he's not ready ... just be a good friend.

you could drop a hint or two though ... you know like ... "hey whenever you're ready to date again, let me know.....cuz do I have the girl for you!"

Just don't tell him who the girl is. if he asks, just keep saying, "When you're ready, when you're ready."
