How to tell my crush I like him as more than friends?

I’ve been friends with this guy for about a year now but a few months ago I started developing feelings for him. He’s been really helpful and caring but I know he’s not ready for a relationship. He has told me before that he’s not looking because he wants to work on himself. That’s why I’m not even sure if I should tell him. If I did, how would a guy like a girl (friend) to tell him?

... well, sounds like you are very observant and have thought this through. so, listen to your own advice ... if he's not ready ... just be a good friend.

you could drop a hint or two though ... you know like ... "hey whenever you're ready to date again, let me know.....cuz do I have the girl for you!"

Just don't tell him who the girl is. if he asks, just keep saying, "When you're ready, when you're ready."

He doesn't have to know that it's our local town hero.....YOU!
