How to tell my crush I like him as more than friends?

I’ve been friends with this guy for about a year now but a few months ago I started developing feelings for him. He’s been really helpful and caring but I know he’s not ready for a relationship. He has told me before that he’s not looking because he wants to work on himself. That’s why I’m not even sure if I should tell him. If I did, how would a guy like a girl (friend) to tell him?

I would not tell him. Since he has made his position known, you'd be setting yourself up for awkwardness if you reveal your feelings to him.

In my experience, when a guy says he's not ready for a relationship, and wants to work on himself, etc. it means he's not interested in a relationship [i][b]with you[/b][/i].
