A crush is just lust disguised as love, agree?

For me, a crush was just admiration. If a man was particularly handsome, I would think about him a great deal, and admire his wonderful looks, but very handsome men always made me far too shy and self conscious to ever speak to them. And thus, for me...because of my shyness...a crush was never lust.

@4meAndyou Thank you! I have always used the word "crush" to mean something innocent and nonsexual as well.

We seem to be in the minority here.

Lust, on the other hand, is very straight-forward for me. It doesn't need to disguise itself!

Me too. I still crush on people. I might think them attractive, or admire something about them, be in awe even, but a crush quite wonderful in its own right.... it would be spoiled if romance or lust entered the equation!!
Thats how it is for ne any way....
