Why did I have to buy a steel pipe ?

Why is only steel used for some drainage pipes but not plastic ?

I wanted plastic they said it wasn't durable or something about erosion.

i much prefer sewer line pipe over black crappy pipe. it is smooth inside and has much thicker ends for connection. will not leak!!
