The box most definitely you can enclose Annabelle in a glass case and she's harmless but if you open a dubbuk box there's no telling what you've unleashed.
@AngelUnforgiven I'm somewhat familiar (used loosely) with the Annabelle doll, but I stopped watching the Conjuring movies after the second one and only watched the first released Annabelle movie. Is there a trigger for the Annabelle doll, or does she have a mind of her own? So she is fine if locked away? But can the Dybbuk Box be dealt with in much of the same way, by putting it in a box and leaving it be as well? Maybe I should watch a couple more of them. My interest has been re-peaked.
