I think people split up when the love is no longer mutual.. and that's probably why they cheated in the first place. Either they didn't love or didn't feel loved. People can take care of urges on their own. People seek out people for the way they make them feel. And of course there are those sociopath types that just cheat at everything in life. They don't love anyone but themselves, so it was doomed before it began with them.
