So some say “your bf should put a lock on his phone so you don’t go through it cause he knows you’ll go through it. Your invading his privacy”. But then there’s another part that says “if he’s a cheater why not snoop and know so you can decide if you want to move on.” Which side is the correct side? Would you ever snoop to determine if your partner is cheating on you? Or would you not snoop because your invading their privacy but get cheated on.
Without trust, you have nothing. If he offers, then go ahead, if not then dont.

Would you be ok with him doing the same to you without him asking you?

I have no need to snoop on my gfs phone, and she wouldn't snoop on mine, we both have locks but we have eachothers pass key
I’m more worried about my government and private companies trading my personal info..

It sounds more like you are talking about honesty and communication which would appear to be lacking in your relationship.

Privacy is something I think about when I don’t want my personal information shared online.
If you distrust him, you're better off without eachother, regardless of whether he's actually cheating or it's all in your head. If you feel the need to snoop, just leave him.

I would not. Even if I get cheated on, I'll square that later. I deserve the respect of my own privacy, and so does any woman I might be with.

I'd never snoop. If she is up to no good then let her be up to no good.
