I have been with my husband who is a lot older than me for nine years. Incase you are wondering I’m 39 he is 78 yet I think a lot of society does not agree with this type of relationships. We still get a lot of verbal,abuse especially me and often accused of being a gold digger or even his whore but I’m not ashamed to be with him and we always hold hands in public
I’m not sure what the problem is we are both happy and it’s not harming anyone so why the stigma with these relationships?

I'm actually glad to hear I'm not alone, I also have a huge age gap between me and my girlfriend. I always figured that when she's your age and I'm your boyfriend(husband) age that she will leave me for someone younger but hearing your story gives me hope that she might actually stick around. I just get along better with younger women, last sunday 2 girls in their early 20's called me to hang out, we spent the day together. thursday my best friend, who is 23 yr old lesbian , came to have supper at my place and my girlfriend is also 23 but she is in south america right now. but yes, people judge my girlfriend a lot, everyone think she's just using me. I don't believe in agism, I have friends from 20 to 75 years old !!!
