I’m not against at all as my new wife is 11 years my junior.
That said, it can be creepy too. Bill Belichick is 72. His girlfriend is 24. That’s a 48 year, two generation age gap. Dating a father is one thing. Dating a grandfather is too much for me, though I certainly don’t begrudge their happiness.
My ex wife was almost 19 years older than me, my late ex fiancee was almost 17 1/2 years older than me, after those two I am now of the mindset of keep relationships within the same generation within no more than ten years of each other, being massively younger than both deeply negatively affected me, they both also treated me more like a child than an equal partner.
I don't think there's anything wrong with age gaps in relationships (well, for the most part) but I find these pictures disturbing because she looks far too young🤢
If it’s not an abusive relationship, or that they are not just using each other for whatever reason, age shouldn’t be a problem.
There could be differences in interests, personal tastes, maturity in topics of conversations. But if that not a deal-breaker for their relationship, then they could make it work.
That depends on the young person's age..-25 are easily manipulated and older generations have had the advantage of time and experience to be able to know how better to create a relation dynamic that benefits them. We often talk about child grooming but that too can happen to +18 individuals who still are starting to explore the dating world.

@Miram some men or women like to have to the “pretty thing “ on their arm. There really needs to be more than looks and youth involved. The most significant connection between people is that which happens between the ears.
I think they're harder because the two people are clearly at different points of their careers or lives, which can be tough even when the people are the exact same age.
My co-worker was basically the same age as his wife, they wanted to retire together... but he was ready to retire NOW, she wanted to wait a few more years... so he did, but as the years went on, he was ready to retire and she still wasn't. And he ended up retiring, I don't know about her.
But it's more about people, though I think they can work, just a lot less likely to work in the long run.
But hey, over 50% of marriages in the USA have ended in divorce, so one could claim long term ain't working anyways...
Not for me. Everyone older was too old. I don't go to bed early. I don't think old. Seems younger are attracted to me. I guess it is whatever makes people happy. Sometimes it appears creepy.
@jackson55 I know what they say. It would be taking advantage of a young person. I prefet a man with depth and who can perform closer to my age or a bit younger.
@PoetryNEmotion I agree with you for the most part. Sometimes theres a language barrier with big age differences. I've been together 10 years with a woman 24 years younger than myself. we still get along great.
My sister married a man 23 years older than she. They were happily married for many years until his death. If it's right, it's right...despite the age difference.
