Why is it always either hospitality/retail workers or medical workers who always have to go through this bs ?

Society continually passes judgment on the character and abilities of retail and catering staff, to justify paying them low wages. When combined with the certainty that "the customer is always right", some people feel entitled to abuse others.

The abuse of medical staff often starts with fear or stress in an unfamiliar siruation, which is at least a bit more understandable.
