I feel scared to date men again !

I got abused and betrayed by most people in my life .

What can I do because I crave a partner in my life .
I am scared to be abused and betaryed again .
Some even tried to murder me and involved innocent pets/animals in personal fights !

That is sad, but I have had the same experience with dating women. Never had a woman to try and murder me though. But the lies betrayal deceit and being cheated on has led me to not trust and to stop trying to leave me single 18 years and not dating the past 12 years.
