Strangers can only take you at face value . Your appearance, demeanor, and personality is all the information they have to formulate in-the-moment assumptions about who you are. To assume anyone would immediately agree to your own personal estimation of your worth could be considered narcissistic and indicates you are guilty of doing to them what you believe they are doing to you.
You can only go with the tangibles upon first meetings and hopefully get to know the people better over time before making a determination of their value.
