Idk just more Thoughts

I think I felt flattered my ex spent money on me for my birthday and a lot at that.. but when I think about it, there are fundamental issues that we would never get past. I’m not sure why I got the gift and I feel uncomfortable now

Only you know the type of person that they are. So ask yourself what's the reason behind it, was it genuine, was it sinister, and go with your gut. If your heart's telling you to accept it then accept it, if not, return it and politely say I can't receive this but I appreciate it.
