First time being called "embarrassing"

There was a guy that hung out with me several times in public then 2 weeks later told me that he was embarrassed to be seen with me in public and doesn't want to see me again but would like to remain my friend on Facebook and to delete him if I get into a new relationship. Why would someone be embarrassed to be seen with me in public?
I also just don't understand why he would want to remain friends and only get deleted when I get into a new relationship, when he was embarrassed to be seen with me in public?

just delete him right now. he is obviously the weird one, and you don't have time for that! *snap*snap*

@MissNoahLenFoxx I hope there's nothing for me to worry about being told I'm embarrassing.

@UltimateDemiGoddess there isn't. especially since until now he's been the only one to ever say so

@UltimateDemiGoddess I think, before you delete him....ask him why he thinks you're embarrassing to be around...

At least you'll be able to process his way of thought.

@SledgeHammer I don't want to bother him so I haven't asked. If he ends up messaging me in the future, I will ask that question.

@UltimateDemiGoddess Don’t waste your time. What he thinks doesn’t matter. It’s obvious he has a big ego and acts entitled. Those types of people see what they can get away with. They see if they can control you by breaking you down. These types of people are red flags and are potentially dangerous. Asking him why at this point is giving him your power. You don’t want him to have any of your energy. He doesn’t care about you he cares about himself. Don’t give him any chances to steal your power. Your energy is personal and it is your most prized possession. Use it wisely. He is not well. Tell him good riddance!

Healthy people understand you for who you are, in the moment you meet them. People you want to surround yourself with will automatically enjoy the time they have with you. They will not look at you with disgust. They will smile at you. Find these people.
