She took it from me to help and figured out that I was trying to use a cork screw to open a twist-off cap. And yes I even penetrated the cap and still couldn't figure it out.

i tried using a corkscrew on a bottle of my dads whisky
it was pull-cap and it was not a tight fit at all
my dad just effortlessly popped it off
