They are a challenge, different experiences in life, hard to relate to in everyday conversation to say the least. Will get boring in that regard.

Physically: Fun for awhile, can be exciting and electric.

FWBs = yes!

Then again, my biggest age difference was 12 yrs. She was older, a biathelete and we complimented each other for the 3 yrs we were together. Ultimately there were things I wanted to do, she didnt. It ran its course.

Yes, I wouldve done it again looking back

Are you starting to have feelings for him? You’ve known him nearly his whole life and you use to babysit him. The two of you probably have a better shot than most. You’ll never know unless you take the chance.
Ilovelily1986 · 36-40, F
@MtnManJohn I'm just curious is all.
MtnManJohn · 61-69, M
@Ilovelily1986 It sounds like y’all have been having fun together the past couple of days. You should talk with him and find out what he would like long term.

It does fine.Ive had two nice relationships with girls at least 12 years younger than myself. It works fine.It all depends of course on the individual.
MrAverage1965 · 61-69, M
It has worked out for many people although I imagine it can get difficult if one starts to struggle with their health or mental capacity.
exexec · 70-79, C
I have seen those relationships work, but it isn't easy.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
I wish I could say it worked out for me but all I can say is it was fun while it lasted.
tobynshorty · 51-55, F
Tbh.. no. As long as you don’t hurt anyone but he is a child mentally and you need to respect that.
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
I think so if the two people in the age relationship have common ground golas and interest to build upon.
It absolutely can work out. There are challenges. If both parties are committed to making it work, it can work.
It’s all about the two people as long as their adults it’s up to them

Age gaps can work out.
ArtieKat · M
@QCDog2659 That's what I was going say - there's no general rule as it depends on the individuals

Anything is possible
18 is young.
ToriTalking · 18-21, F
It depends on what you both want
masterofyou · 70-79, M
It depends on what kind of a relationship.... Be more specific....
cyberdude28 · 31-35, M
Depends on who older the male or the female?
JSmith75 · 46-50, M
It all depends on the two people
It dep on how their personalities are measured
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
Sure, the conversations are extremely romantic. She asks if her dress makes her look fat. He asks if his pants smell like urine.
Win/win.
HootyTheNightOwl · 41-45
No... eventually, one party can't handle the gap.
