For men loooking for a "nurturing" woman

What are you providing that will make a woman feel safe and loved to want to nurture you?

If all you are doing is taking the nurturing and not providing anything in return, then you will not get what you want.

While relationships aren't to be transactional, if all you are doing is wanting, but not giving, you are not the kind of person a woman who is nurturing wants to be with.

You can't pour from an empty bucket.

I haven't got a clue. We all are something and need something any way

@val70 yes, perhaps, but it is how you go about getting what you need. If you are only selfishly taking and not giving what is wanted in return, that's not a situation most women want to find themselves in. Equity is important.

@val70 I don't disagree with you that women can be just as bad. Unhealthy views on what a relationship is runs rampant, particularly in the western world. We've stopped looking at a partner as an equal person on a journey with you, but as a resource. We have dehumanized the idea of a partner in so many ways. We have become disconnected as a society to see others in anything other than what benefits someone brings to us.

We need a change as a whole as to why we have relationships and what purpose they serve us as individuals and as partners.

@FoxyQueen Go christian, you mean?
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@val70 Ew no. Lol just change our perspectives on what a relationship is versus what it should be to be healthy and fulfilling.

I would never suggest someone turn to organized religion for anything. Lol that would be the worst place to turn for relationship help.

@FoxyQueen Really? Morality as a rule is the greatest when one actually does believe in something greater than oneself
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@val70 Morality is a personal choice and morality is subjective, depending on each person. It is why it is so difficult to legislate because everyone has varying degrees of morality.

@FoxyQueen Love God and love your neighbour as yourself isn't that hard though
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@val70 True, but if you need a god to make you be a good person, then you probably aren't a good person. You should be good to others because that is your inclination, not because you're afraid of consequences.
