The thing is, I seen all the hints I just didn't know how to act on them without making a mistake. I thought that was me giving a hint back. Turns out we both realized we were hinting each other and well nothing happened. 20 years later we talked about it but now we're both sad and in regret that we didn't do something, This post kind of brought that back. It's not your fault, but it reminds me.

Why give hints when you can just be straight forward. Repeat after me., say this " (Insert his or her name here), I like you and I think that I would like to get to know you better! is that possible?

At a bar in college.

Me: "hey you wanna get out of here and go somewhere quiet, there's too many people here."

Him: "I think everywhere else is closed for the night"

Got fully undressed and cuddled up to him under a blanket while watching a movie with him and his girlfriend (who was also my best friend)

"I need to find a guy like you."

"You'll find someone, I have no doubt."
