@FelicityDavenport until this day we have no idea where my bag is. It went missing in the house where he lives.

Sounds like he needs to grow up without you I would say did you find my bag if yes then say I need it back before I even consider it. Get it back and then go home send him a text saying no then block his number.

@MelancholicFeelings I understand that you're lonely and the thing is, when we're close to someone it is the hardest thing, the forces are into play, strong pulling forces.
BUT the situation sounds weird af. I'd say, let him know what you think openly.
Tell him how it was weird what happened, how he called the police and how you're now considering whether you'd like to continue with this level of unsafety and uncertainty into your Life. See what reply you'll get and try to pull back. From a distance you might be able to see clearly.
