Do you meet your significant other half way?

Significant other, girlfriend, wife? I do not have one and have not had a wife for 18 years or a girlfriend for 11 years. When I did, I was the one that gave and gave and gave until I had nothing left to give, so I quit trying or even looking.

So now I give only to myself 100% of myself and I find myself very happy and not let down depressed or defeated any longer.

Is absolutely because a relationship is teamwork. I believe that we both should bring a hundred percent of whatever we have to the table and that includes who we are and everything else. There is no I I in team work... And if the other person is not pushing as hard as I am it's time to do something else

No, we only lived an hour apart so when we first started dating we would go to one of our places of the other.
