I have a friend who attempts to sleep with everyone despite loving her partner, almost like a placeholder because of the distance. Sometimes she'll tell the partner other times she won't. As toxic as it is, somewhere underneath that she's trying to replicate the bond she has with them until they're together AND when they are together, she's madly fixated all over again.
The point being, feelings and actions don't always go hand in hand. Feelings are complex and we try and soothe ourselves in different ways, some that aren't ideal. It doesn't reflect you, it reflects her.

@HijabaDabbaDoo Agreed. Some people deal with pain and heartache by indulging themselves in quick fix doses of endorphins. They have no ability to process intense emotions. That was me for so many years.

I'm sorry that you were given this information. I don't know if I'm reading this wrong so please correct me.
Did she sleep with someone during the time you've been broken up? Or was this the reason for you two breaking up?
It won't change your pain and I'm not trying to minimise it. But it will also give better insight into how you can try and move forward for you're own well being.
The bottom line is, it's probably better to try and envision life without her in it. Rebuilding yourself and your confidence is key.

I'm sorry man. It happens. Some people just aren't good at being alone and don't handle breakups well. It doesn't necessarily mean that she didn't value what you had. I would have probably done much the same when I was in that situation. I didn't handle breakups well either.
I kinda get that. Our feelings unfortunately don’t always conform to our intellectual understanding of a situation.

Maybe she did you a favour by breaking up. She may have wanted to sleep with other guys for a while. Best thing is to find a new gf and forget about her. Don't message her anymore.

You’re not dating. Get it together, bro. She’s a grown woman. Of course she has that right. You don’t own her.
Let it go.
Let it go.

Sorry 🫤
She's your ex now, you don't get to call dibs on when she can sleep with someone else or not - though, I'm not sure why you'd want to be with someone who is broadcasting their sex life like this because it feels narcissistic to me.

get tested
NGL it's pretty shit for her to tell you this... Why does she feel you need to know this?
Now it's different if you asked...
Either way I get the hurt.
It's horrible. But this to shall pass.

Some people tend to self soothe their heartache with sex with someone they barely know ...even if it's not the person they love . This seems to be a common thing these days

The best cure for this is a NEW girlfriend.
Why is she telling you now if you broke up months ago? Did you want her back?
