I think our ex's are our mistakes, they are our lessons we've had to learn from them in this life. Its the same thing Radiohead were refering to with the lyric "kill me Sarah, kill me again with love" in their song Lucky. A part of us dies with the relationship.

I don't have any exes, and Lynn managed to remain friends with all of her exes. It helps that she was never really serious about their relationships.
