I missed my toxic ex when i was in a toxic relationship with someone else

I have always missed my ex. He knew more about me than anyone. I thought we would be together forever.

Most of my exes have leaned on the less favorable side so there was never a longing or enough fond memories to fuel a missing of any of them. There was only one that I missed and it resulted in an on again/off again mess of a relationship that made me want to make a clean break from future exes.

Yes, one. It wasn't even a long relationship, but I felt like I could be myself with him more than anyone else

I can't quite sure to call it missing her.. but i do remember her occasionally.. we don't simply forget kind people or anyone we had spent an extended amount of time with together..to think of her and wanting her back, no.. but to think of her as pages of my life, yeah i do sometimes.. don't take things for granted, especially with all the good things we are having right now..

my ex had a strong hold on me for years and even now that i’ve been with other people in long term relationships, i still think about her time to time. the human mind is strange bc i know i would have still been miserable with her

No I don't miss any of my exes. Their exes for a reason the only thing I ever wonder about sometimes is on occasion the road never taken
