Oh the hate! She cries because of it and so do I

Yes, I am guilty too. Anytime someone said something I didn't like about my candidate or my beliefs, a boiling effect would arise in my gut and it wasn't a Colin problem. As time went on, I searched my heart and it happened because of an intense disagreement with my twin brother. It saddened me we would let politics come between our brotherly love and a friendship we hold dearly. I began thinking, what about those friendships outside the family? I love my friends, even the cyber ones and refuse to walk away from them over political disagreements. Crap! Don't hate! In four years join with like-minded souls and change it if you can. That's what the vote is for, but love thy neighbor as thy self. (Well, most neighbors. LOL) Really, joking aside, please love the people around you, your family and your friends. Stop the hate over politics, religion, the color of hair, or whatever! Just, please, Stop! Let's just agree to disagree if that's the case and move on. I love you, dear friends. I do!

So the issue I have is that they hate me. Just for being me.

This is not a two way street. It’s not a “both sides” issue. One side is the origin of the hatred.

All things are not equal. There is no unity with bigots and those that exploit other for their own gain.

There never will be. Ever.

@PalteseMalconFunch Some will never see the wrong they do and if that's the case, just believe in yourself, forgive them, and move on.

@Coletracer So again I would ask…how do I do that?

Homosexuality is a crime where I live. The Supreme Court has already talked about overturning the decision that prevents it from being enforced.

So all of us here will be guilty of crimes again and registered as sex offenders just for being gay.

This is what those whose politics creates a wedge between us want. How exactly do we “move on” from that? What does that look like?

@Coletracer I no longer forgive those who want me dead

@Coletracer I want to say I feel for you and your brother. I don’t like to see people torn apart. But I just to express what all this means for some of us.

@SarahAndSamantha I'm sorry it came to that. Know who you are and love the person you have become. Celebrate yourself.

@PalteseMalconFunch My brother and I agreed to disagree and have put politics behind us. It took one of us to say I'm sorry I let politics come between us.

@PalteseMalconFunch I'm not sure how to answer that. I'm sorry that where you are, you don't have the freedoms we have here, but I think who you are should be between you and your God unless it harms another.

I do. Which is why I no longer forgive those who wish me dead
