Would you date someone with opposite political beliefs than you?

Maybe twenty years ago. I wasn't quite informed enough to be firm in my positions. There are some issues I could be on opposite sides of, but if we're saying they are opposite to the majority of my beliefs then I could not do so. I just wouldn't be able to respect them.
