No, you're probably just too intelligent, too deep minded, too spirituality awakened, or something along those lines

skybubble20 · 56-60, F
I read a good quote regarding this one.

Your friends are a reflection of your own personality. Intelligent people tend to have less friends that the average person.
The smarter you are, the more selective you become.

@skybubble20 yeah that's why we have no friends 😆

I wonder this too. Why can't I make friends or keep them... Why can't I believe that people care...

I sometimes wonder if abuse damaged my brain.

@AlchemyFox

I feel pretty disconnected too, I think it’s part of the healing process.
TexChik · F
@AlchemyFox I am the lucky one there. I have managed to find someone who has stood by me through my crazy ups and downs. The confidence I have gained just from knowing he loves me anyway has made all the difference.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@AlchemyFox It can change the way we deal with people for sure. You have good insight there

I, literally, do nothing socially....in spite of other people continually try in include me.
For example, my job is throwing me a birthday party this weekend...am I going???
No.
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@Ferric67 seriously?? Ha!
Ferric67 · M
@Notsimilarreally I'm terrible

In my defense, I live thirty miles away...and in New York distance...it can be very far due to congestion traffic.
My friends happen to live by where I work...and I loathe the idea of having to drive far to get home.

You could be but it'll cost you maybe £500-1k to find out.

Sometimes it's better to just figure out what it is that's causing you problems and try and work on them. If noone is prepared to give you feedback, maybe you can watch someone like Vanessa van Edwards.
She's an orator but has lots of tips and tricks to help people be more appealing socially.

Everybody is a unique individual with a different personality and various personality traits. Sincerity and honesty are the reflection of good hearted people.

Don’t be ashamed of who you are or bothered by the fact you are not like others. Be yourself, it is enough. Just be you…..

I'm the same
For me it's just ....I'm tired ...from work ...family ...I'm too tired to be bothered to have any kind of social life ...plus I find most people highly irritating

Or maybe you’re just shy and inexperienced at making friends and maintaining friendships. Some people are better at it than others
lumberjackslam · 41-45, M
