How do you be in a happy relationship?

By focusing your energy on loving him/her and not evaluating how much you're getting in return. Try to out-give your partner and be happy when you are. 😁

Try to find the right partner in the first place.

That involves a certain amount of luck.

Having open communication, trust, empathy, and making sure to spend time together outside of the normal everyday crap that focuses on each other and the relationship.

There is too much emphasis on lust and love. As it turns out, liking your partner is the most important factor. In others words, do you literally enjoy spending time with them when you’re not banging uglies or drunk?

I don’t think I have ever seen anyone who is in a happy relationship so I don’t actually think they exist.

Make happiness a priority. Never accept anything less

How do I be?

Generally it works best by figuring out how to be happy with yourself and then find a partner who either assists or at least doesn't mess it up. Things like shared life goals always help so you have something to work towards together and want to move in the same direction.
