Taken in Hand?? How dose it differ from a "normal" relationship?

I have a taken in hand marriage. It's different for everyone just like any "normal" (whatever that looks like) marriage is. This kind of marriage is always consensual. There's always a power exchange. There's always lots of discussion around what each partner wants.
