Yes. Love knows no distance, no separation. It transcends all boundaries. I was never more alone in my life than during my first marriage. And I have never felt more love than I have experienced from a man on the other side of the earth.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@AbbeyRhode Abbey - you are a special lady. You say so many really smart things here and look at you - a romantic love bird too! Your husband is a very lucky guy.

Wait a minute - your first husband? What happened to #1?
AbbeyRhode · F
@Budwick Awww, thank you. That means a lot, coming from one of the most intelligent people I know. ☺️
Lol, it's true, I am a hopeless romantic.
#1 was a learning experience. He said all the right words, and I believed them. But there was no love in his heart.

If they have the intention of closing the distance yes.

@SW-User Good answer
SW-User
@SW-User Thank you.
SW-User
If the feelings are real and the people are genuine yes.. 😐
SW-User
@Darksideinthenight2 I think love is stronger anyway than that and yeah nice if it happens but eventually if it doesn't, if it was the kind.. Of authentic love... Where people truly.. Care for each other.. It's worth it

I believe they exist. I read this as “Do you believe in long distance kissing?” first, which I’m not sure exists. Maybe if you have really long lips.
TexChik · F
I believe they fail 100% of the time and should be avoided
SW-User
@TexChik Thank you. :)

@SW-User I met my now-husband when I was in holiday in Yorkshire. We kept in touch, he would drive to Scotland (2½hrs) most weekends, we got married 7 months later and he moved up here. 🤗
SW-User
@Fluffybull I love happy endings and good stories! I'm so glad it all worked out for you. 🤗
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
No. Not at all. And yet, I find myself pleasantly entangled in one now! ;)
KiwiBird · 36-40, F
@sarabee1995 Pot calling the Kettle Black. 🤣 LOL The quickening is nigh soon to be short distance....so you can then be true to your beliefs. 🤗❤🤗
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@KiwiBird Just about a month left until the big move home! 😁
SailorMarz · F
Tbh, those are my favorite but I'm trying hard to keep it irl for once.

But I don't mind distance, just as long as I can video chat with yo ass
Digoutyoursoul · 31-35, F
Could work, if you put the effort in. Love will never stop you overcoming obstacles in being together.
SW-User
I believe they can happen. But I also believe most fail.
@SW-User just like in person relationships then.
Only as stepping stone to an in person relationship.
dominateofyou · 61-69, M
yes with a future plan on meeting
Mirkwood · 36-40, M
Yes.
And there are many whom get to be together in the end.

Not said that they are easy.
I tried having two from other countries.
Some of best experiences i had, culture and all. But they did not last.

But even sometimes an hour or two between eachother can strain a relationship.
wonkywinky · 51-55, M
No they are difficult.
I had one girl lived about 8 miles and another about 15.Its all buses and taxis or driving, and it becomes jarring, its hard to have nights out etc. They will eventually break down sadly.

Best kind when dealing with liberals as they make better targets and more fun to shoot when they are at long range.
curiouspirit · 36-40, F
In certain circumstances, yes but it is very hard to maintain and not something I could commit to again.
SW-User
Yes, I'm in a long distance marriage atm. But soon we'll be together forever 🥰
No. People don't take you seriously online.
Depends on who’s on the other end
SW-User
it’d be worth a shot
SW-User
They never work
SW-User
I believe long distance relationships can work but won't always work. A lot depends on how two people connect and what each is willing to put into the relationship.
If money is a problem, it's going to be harder and sometimes, that can be a deal breaker.
I know for a fact it's going to take two people with a whole lot of trust and integrity... and definitely
the will to make it work. And don't forget love. Love really knows no boundaries and can be found anywhere.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
I do. They can be difficult, and often fail but these days that seems true of local relationships as well. I've experienced some amazing people through LDRs.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
They're tough. I don't prefer them.
